    Hosts file

I having been using the hosts file from mvps hosts.

They went to 0.0.0.0 instead of 127.0.0.1 because of a conflict with Windows 8.1.

Is my host file working or do I need to change all of them to 0.0.0.0 ?

    Code:
    # [Start of entries generated by MVPS HOSTS]
    #
    # [Misc A - Z]
    0.0.0.0 crt.livejasmin.com
    0.0.0.0 https://crt.livejasmin.com
    0.0.0.0 fr.a2dfp.net
    0.0.0.0 mfr.a2dfp.net

    It will work as is.

However, since I usually have a few other things in my hosts file, I append the above kind of thing to my existing hosts file with cat.

    Re: Hosts file

I've been using the MPVS hosts for years, never had an issue with it. I use the Ubuntu defaults rather than those included in the MVPS file/

I like their hosts file because it blocks so many junk sites.

You can add sites that you do not want to open up in your browser.
