    WiFi primary/secondary connection idea

    Feature request (networking):
In the WiFi settings you should be able to set a primary and secondary connection. If the primary goes down, the secondary will be connected to. During the connection to the secondary -- the primary connection will continually be tested at regular intervals and as soon as it is back online... the connection automatically switches back to primary. (Notifications should take place whenever a switch occurs)

    E.g scenario:
Say your primary broadband connection is having outages. Then the secondary hot spot connection will be connected to and once the broadband comes online again it will be switch to (to save you money on wireless data).
It could even be customisable (ie switching to primary could be automatic but switching to secondary manual etc)

Routers do this without any need for computer changes. Routing has a "metric" setting to control priority.

BTW, nobody here works for Canonical.
