Question Soft lockup 20.04 - Only when restarting

Hello I've been trying to resolve an on-going issue I'm having with ubuntu 20.04.

Whenever I retstart, I get a soft lockup error - I have already posted on askubuntu but the awnser provided was to use a new verison of the kernal - which didn't help sadly.

    I'm now on Ubuntu 20.04 Kernal 5.7.8

Any suggestions on how I can get around this bug would be greatly appritiated!

    Regards,

The specification of your Intel Compute Stick indicates 2GB RAM and Ubuntu 20.04 prefers 4GB RAM.

Possibly, a leaner Operating System (Xubuntu or Lubuntu) may be a better option.
