Bluetooth doesn't work on MacBook

My Bluetooth doesn't work on my 12 inch Macbook. It says it's off constantly, when I turn it on the switch just goes back to the off position. Would this be a driver issue or what? Can you re-install drivers in Ubuntu?

Was the bluetooth working previously? Is this a new install of 18.04? Probably would be better to install 20.04.

I have the same problem on 20.04 with the MacBook 12" late 2017 model.
UPDATE:
This got the bluetooth working and then I had to manually connect the mouse and pair it.
