Linux Mint (xfce) 19.3/Win10/Shared Win Folder

I've set up a shared folder on Win10--this can be successfully accessed by Android 9 and other Win10 machines.

However, when trying to access Win's shared folder in Linux Mint 19.3 (Thunar or PCMANFM), I am prompted for MS userid/password (which is the same as my universal MS user/password used for setting up Win10, etc). I enter the correct userid/password (the userid = email address) and after hitting OK, the login screen simply comes again.

What handle do I need to jiggle?

    Many thanks.

I would suggest that you ask your question on the Linux Mint Forums found here.

Thread moved to the Mint sub-forum.

You are welcome to ask about Mint here, but in this sub-forum. However, the Linux Mint forum is probably the best place to get help for that distro.
