    Ubuntu / wine issue

I have an interesting issue with 16.04 - using wine.
When I execute the terminal command I get
an empty "window" with application name in title ,
however, I also get a real stuff - standard file etc. on TOP "window ".
It works as expected , but
WHY is is NOT as a title on already opened "file" window.

In an essence - I have TWO title "status" bars and the one on top, above all opened "windows", is the only one actually working
BUT the results show in the original "window'.

Works this way on at least two wine "assisted" applications.

Please, please if you are going to say "this is wine problem" do not waste your time. DO NOT BOTHER.

I need a SOLUTION, not passing the buck, no matter WHERE is the problem.

    Cheers

    Re: Ubuntu / wine issue

i use Play on linux and i never had this issue. the launcher is created after the wine app is installed. so i just click it and it launches in one window.
Read the easy to understand, lots of pics Ubuntu manual.
Do i need antivirus/firewall in linux?
Full disk backup (newer kernel -> suitable for newer PC): Clonezilla
User friendly full disk backup: Rescuezilla
