On my Windows PC browser, I go to:

https://drive.google.com/drive/my-drive

And I see one folder and four files in my Google Drive.
Storage shows: 22.8 MB of 15 GB used.

Good so far.

Now, I add my Google Drive to Ubuntu 18.04 Desktop. Opening the Google Drive folder, I see 18 folders, 81 files, for a total of 2.7 GB.

The extra files are those files and folders that I deleted years ago. And, they aren't my trash folder, it's empty. My Storage folder (in Google Drive) is also empty.
I can edit a new file and save it to the Google drive on the Windows browser, and it appears in the Google Drive folder in Ubuntu.
And, the other way around, so I know I am looking at the same account.

Here's the problem. I can't edit, rename or delete the old files, I can't even replace them with a new file with the same name. But I can double-click to open them with the appropriate program.

Has anyone else seen this?
Can I get to the folder through BASH where I might have a better view of the files and folders permissions and owners?
Any other tips would be appreciated.
