    Yes .... got the 1014 kernel update and now the V3D 4.2 pi driver is showing as in use, so fixed.
    Clearly some change to the kernel has been included/picked up as a patch and has fixed the issue.

    The first line appears to indicate that the probe has not received the expected number of output ports which then appears to remove the /dev entries.

    Hi, I got the exact same error with rpi3 Model B+ on both kernle version 5.4 and 5.8
    were you able to fix it ?
