get error when opening ubuntu software center

Every time I open the ubuntu software center I get the following error:

Don't know how to handle 'file:///home/mickee'

at the top. The application appears unaffected, just getting tired of the error. When I click on the X it doesn't come back until the next time I launch it.

Any ideas will be most welcomed!

You haven't provided your release details (legacy Lubuntu or modern Lubuntu, or something different), however I'd be checking your sources for an invalid entry.

I rarely use GUI software/package tools so aren't familiar with errors when things are done wrong, but I'd likely jump to a terminal (ctrl+alt+T) then `sudo apt update` and look for errors or entries containing "/home/mickee". It may not be your cause, but it's what I'd look for first (if that's it, remove it from your sources (myself I'd use `vim`, but https://manual.lubuntu.me/stable/4/4...e_sources.html for the Lubuntu manual page on that detail)

I use terminal alot and there are no errors with apt - there are no errors in the sources. I am using Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. That said I appreciate the answer and will double check the sources.list

It could be unrelated, but there are several xenial repositories mixed with your bionic repositories. Edit your /etc/apt/sources.list to change these to bionic. Most people don't need the source repositories, so maybe you want to put a # at the start of every line beginning with deb-src. Most of the xenial repositories are for source code, but the partner repo is of xenial too.
