new SSO wrecked my account

I followed the instructions that were postedabout tying ubuntuforums account to ubuntu one, but it refused to allow be to connect the accounts. Now I have a stupid #2 after my username. Can this be fixed?

First SSO did not wreck your account, you used a different email address and that is why SSO created a new account with the number 2 appended to the end of your username, if you will pm me the email address you used when you created your original account then I can make the necessary changes to get you back into your original account, please do not post your email.
