how instantly launch exe's with wine

Hello there, new to Ubuntu so please explain things slowly and clearly for me thanks. I installed Wine through "Ubuntu Software" and I am looking to have my system automatically associate .exe files with wine. So to state I know how to run a .exe file through the terminal using wine, as it's a simple wine ./ command, however I want to be able to simply double click an .exe and have it run with wine. I saw video's of it being in the "open with" drop down right click menu, BUT it is not there for me at all. Any help?

@CatKiller: First of all the directory "usr/share/doc/wine-stable/examples" does not exist on my system. However "usr/share/doc/wine/examples" does exist, however when trying to copy the 1 file inside that directory to the new location ie "usr/share/aplications" I was presented with a permissions issue and the file refused to copy. Any suggestions?

EDIT: I managed to do it :3 I went into the terminal and used sudo cp -i yay thanks. x
