20.04 installer crashes when installing in Virtualbox

Hi, I am new to the Ubuntu forums so please bear with me.
I am trying to install 20.04 Desktop in Virtualbox but the installer crashes. I tried installing 19.10 and 18.04 but I get the same error every time. I tried booting to a live environment, opening a terminal and entering the following:
    Code:
    sudo apt update
    sudo apt install ubiquity
Nothing I have tried has worked, all of my images are valid and have worked before. Even freshly downloaded images have the same problem.
I have given the VM 2 cores, 4GBs of ram, 64MBs of vram, and a 20GB vdisk.

I also noticed at the same time today that in another vm apt was having "Hash Sum Mismatch" errors. When I look at the sums, I noticed that some of then sums are different and some are the same. Clearing apt lists does not work so I think the repos are broken. Could this be what is crashing the installer?

I figured it out! The update caused problems with Hyper-V, had to turn Hyper-V off with bcdedit to fix everything.
