Asko Ubuntu and other sites (facebook groups, MeWe groups...),. so many resources besides forum. but in my opinion they are much less structured.

"Ubuntu forums" is good and I always seem to find a solution already posted for the problem I'm having.

Bug one has been addressed with the introduction of many Linux variations, so it's no longer an us against them scenario which was a binder for the community.

That's kind of what I was getting at in this thread. Many of the problems that Ubuntu had (or Linux distributions in general), are not longer issues anymore.

So, people do not need to come here to figure out problems. Is that the main reason the forums aren't "hopping" anymore?

The Internet changed. Users of traditional web forums are a type of digital geezer in a way. I miss the good old days. Now get off my lawn...
