    Which would be the best domain name?

    Hello!
    I need an opinion of native English speaking folks primarily (though anyone can contribute, of course!). By "native" I mean those whose mother tongue is English (any kind of it). I plan to start online e-learning business and I've bought three domain names for that. Just to have a choice. And since I'm not a native speaking, it's impossible for me to know for sure how each of those would sound to native English speakers. The nature of business is online classes (we teach students). Online tutoring basically.
    So the choice is this:
    1) tutor.systems;
    2) tutors.systems;
    3) tutoring.solutions

    no. 3 - i am not native speaker.

    native or not - domain name is also about the Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

    from your description domain names like:

    online-classes.com or .org
    online-tutoring.com
    onlineclassesforstudents.com
    online-classes-for-students.com
    online-tutoring-for-students.com

    sound good for SEO purposes.

    address should have key words of what you do. of course if you are building a brand or you already have a brand should be the keyword in the web address. ubuntu.com for example. you can then add some adjectives for example:
    best-online-tutoring-for-students.com
    finest-online-tutoring-for-students.com
    awesome-online-tutoring-for-students.com
    ...
    Read the easy to understand, lots of pics Ubuntu manual.
    Do i need antivirus/firewall in linux?
    Disk backup (works on newer PC): Clonezilla
    User friendly full disk backup Redobackup is now back as Rescuezilla

    #2 is odd. #1 and #3 are fine. American speaker.

    Two plural words back-to-back is almost always (maybe always) odd and screams non-native speaker.

    From a "click-ability" standpoint, I wouldn't follow those TLDs, ever. They seem highly suspicious, perhaps because they aren't used much?

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...-level_domains says that ".systems" is for technology sites. Probably not language learning.
    .solutions = business services
    .prof Professors, teachers and learning

    .prof seems like the expected TLD.

    Re: Which would be the best domain name?

    I'd start by searching in the .com and .net domains myself. Like TheFu says, top-level domains like .systems raise suspicions.

    There aren't many options in .com, but I did find that "tutoringsystems.net" is available.
    Code:
    $ host tutoringsystems.com
    tutoringsystems.com has address 207.148.248.143
    $ host tutoringsystems.net
    Host tutoringsystems.net not found.
    You can do searches like these with a WHOIS client, but I find the host command simpler to use.
