    You'll want it. Android is virus prone.

    every so often i'll download an antivirus and anti-malware program on my phone and do a full scan...it never picks up anything.
    years back i had a year subscription on a popular antivirus for my phone , also never picked up anything ,so i decided i'm not paying for it anymore lol.
    so i'll just download the trial version and then delete it again after scans.(don't like stuff permanently running in background on phone)
    but yea its probably best to have a good paid antivirus and/or anti-malware installed on android.

    LineageOS with apps only from F-Droid. Problem solved
