i recently tried to use pi-hole as my own DNS server. one of the problems was that the PC did not use pi-hole even though it was configured (in the network tab of the settings app) to use it. is there a configuration file somewhere where DNS addresses are stored, overriding the settings app? that is the only explanation i can think of. i've checked dhcpcd.conf, but there was nothing obvious. is there another file i need to check? edit: oops, i forgot to mention that i was running pi-hole on a raspberry pi. under ubuntu 18.04
