Storage configuration during install

When I install Ubuntu Server and I get to the storage configuration screen, I seem to have troubles navigating the "File System Summary" step of the install. When I use the arrow keys to navigate around that screen, I have two seconds before the cursor auto navigates back up to the top. I've added a link to the a screenshot of what I mean. If I try to navigate down to modify a volume group or filesystem, it will auto select the top item (as shown in the image in the link). This makes it difficult to navigate this screen. This affects both Ubuntu 18.04 and 20.04

Does anybody know why it does this?

I have not seen such a problem but my 1st guess would be to scrutinize the keyboard selection that was made earlier.
