Login screen goes blank post startup when laptop is on battery

When I start my laptop on battery (without attaching it to a power source) After I punch the disk encryption key just before entering the login window the screen completely goes blank. The next thing I have to do is plug my laptop into a power source then restart,

But when it is attached to a power source then it acts normal(after punching encryption key it takes me to the login window and I can log in).
I have checked the battery health, which is 100%. Post startup I can use it for 4-6 hours on battery. In short, once I log in no power source is required.
Seems like the power source acts kind of key to enter the login screen. This is a weird problem, previously I installed POP os 18.04 on it which had the same issue
I have a dell Inspiron 14 5000 2in1 laptop the configurations are as follows

    • AMD Ryzen™ 7 3700U Mobile Processor
    • 16 GB, 1 x 16 GB, DDR4, 2666 MHz
    • 512 GB M.2 PCIe NVMe Solid-State Drive
    • Ubuntu 20.04 LTS.
    • disk encryption enabled.

Please help me to figure out this issue.

    Welcome.

Before anything else I would recommend updating UEFI and the SSD's firmware.
