Hello,
I work with a Dell XPS 15 running Ubuntu 18.04. The graphics card is a GeForce GTX 1050 4GB.
I recently got a new screen which can go up to QHD 2560 x 1440 at 144 Hz.
I can reach 144 Hz on my personal computer which is running Windows 10, everything is smooth and it's just pure enjoyment.
Now on my working laptop, I can see that the mouse pointer is somehow not refreshing ideally, and the screen is kind of flicking, it really hurts my eyes at the end of the day.
Here is what I have in "Displays" settings:

Here is what I get for the HDMI output that I use:

Does it mean I cannot go above 60 Hz whatever the resolution?
Here is what I have in nvidia-settings:

I read on some forum threads I googled that there was supposed to be a refresh rate option; it doesn't appear to exist... I'm lost.
What can I do to help you help me? Is this really a problem of refresh rate? I hope I'm clear enough, it's pretty hard to explain but it really feels like it.
Thanks a bunch!
