Left control and super buttons not working in Budgie

I'm not a techie and recently installed Ubuntu 20.04 in my laptop. After installing budgie, my keyboard's left control and super buttons are not working. But both of them still work fine inside the default Ubuntu desktop environment and also in my windows os as it is dual booted. Any suggestions?

I kinda figured out the problem. The problem disappeared when I selected the keyboard layout en-US from initial en-India. I guess the developers need to improve on the Indian version of the keyboard.

This is a known issue that has been resolved and fixed in 20.10 by the GNOME mutter devs

It will be backported by Ubuntu devs in the next few weeks
