email notifications

Hi all,

Is it just me or the forum doesn't send email notifications about subscribed threads?

There is a setting to enable email notifications in your profile that is not enabled by default.

Also, for the last 2-3 yrs, the email notifications have been massively delayed and some never get sent. Don't think anyone knows why and Canonical hasn't addressed that issue. Canonical runs the infrastructure, but all the moderators are volunteers and only have restricted access to the vbulletin software (I assume).

The workaround I use is to click on the "Settings" upper-right of every page. That shows any replies to subscribed threads.
