Hi,
I have a problem with this webcam under 19.04 as well as with 20.04
Code:
$ lsusb | grep Cam
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 041e:4051 Creative Technology, Ltd Live! Cam Notebook Pro [VF0250]
With

  • GUVCViewer: all ok
  • Skype: camera is recognized but video is full black (this has nothing to do with poor light).
  • Cheese: camera is not detected

For Skype I have tried what is suggested under https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SkypeWebCams. Unfortunately this is not up-to-date. I really would like the webcam to properly work in Skype.
