Asua Zenbook 13 with the innovative Screen Pad may be a great idea and the way to go for small notepads but could it turn out to be a bit of a gimmick? Or, is incorporating a switchable touch pad the way forward?

It would be a bit of gamble to invest in one only to find that you don't have a usable number input ability in Linux! Fatal really.

I there any opinion as to whether Ubuntu, if not capable now, may follow along the line of this type of input and support it in the future?
