Ok. Scenario.

I am running 16.04 server, for the purposes of Emby and TVheadend.

My wife has just purchased a bird box with a camera installed, but she's bought one which has analogue output instead of an IP camera, so needs to connect directly to a display via composite and audio plugs. It's connected up and working.

I would like to be able to access the feed from different screens. I've had pretty good success using an EasyCap DC60 for capturing analogue video, so I was thinking that if I fed the video from the bird box camera directly into the DC60, it shouldn't be too difficult to pick up the stream using VLC right?

My question is, how do I do this? Using the DC60 on my laptop, in VLC I can just pick it up directly under capture devices, /dev/video1, but how I would pick it up from the server I don't know, hence here I am.

That's the device I'm proposing to use. Thanks!
