    Video editors that support 18:9?

An acquaintance on another forum posted this question. I looked at this list of free video editing software for Linux, but there were no mentions of 18:9.

I had thought about switching to an iPhone 11, until I realized it recorded in a new weird 18:9 format that does not work with OpenShot. Does anyone know if any free editors are out there that doesn't freeze up the moment I import 18:9 into it?
(I tried MovAvi until I realized it would plaster a watermark on every video)

My acquaintance found that KDEnlive supports the 18:9 format.
