Gnome Classic, Pressing Super key does not show desktop icons

Ubuntu 20.04, fully updated (as of 03/25/2020). Pressing the super key only shows desktop, but no desktop icons.

checked both ubuntu classic and ubuntu (default) and saw a difference between the two:
-The ubuntu classic behavior is like that of ubuntu flashback's "show desktop" icon: when pressed, all open windows disappear in order for the desktop with its icons to come into view.
-In ubuntu, there is a small collection of all open windows, like a preview, showing also at the same time the dock.

If by icons you mean the latter, then indeed preview is not available under ubuntu classic. If you mean the Desktop icons, which means the icons of files or the Trash or similar, I can see them, yet I have installed just a couple of minutes ago the proposed updates.

I can see both the Files and Trash icons in Classic. However, when I press the Super key, all the app icons are supposed to show up on the desktop (just like in Ubuntu and Gnome). This is what's not happening.

Hello,

it seems that in classic, the super key is connected with the show desktop button, which minimizes everything for the desktop to come into view. Since still in development, things might change.

Thanks. Although I have tried Classic for just a couple of days, I really like it. In fact, I have switched three of my main computers (one desktop two laptops) to the Classic desktop. It's snappy, clean, functional, and very user-friendly.
