    Change Ubuntu Dock location?

    Hi,

I was wondering is it possible to center the icons in the ubuntu dock on the left?

So that it fills from the middle not the top went you open more apps? With the dot app launcher in the middle?

    Thx

You can center the dock and icons if you install the dash-to-dock gnome-shell extension. See screenshot attached. As you open more applications, the dock and icons stay centered. The 'show applications' button can only be moved from the bottom to the top of the dock (use the configuration dialog for the extension).

As you can see from the attachment, dash-to-dock shows in dconf-editor and I can for example move the applications button. However I can't see an option to centralise the options. What am I doing wrong? Is it because I have a full-width panel?
