    Can't install software from zip.

I wanted to try the free trial of synthesizerv: https://synthesizerv.com/en/download/ and downloaded the zip file for Linux.
I can extract the file easily but when I do I'm left with a folder full of codes and text.
I've tried googling it but can't seem to find anyone else who has this problem, there's no read me or further instructions on how to install in the folder itself either.

Inside your extracted folder is the synthesizer-v-editor file.
Right click on Properties > Permissions > check Allow executing file.. box, close properties.
Open a terminal, drag & drop that file into terminal, click on terminal to return focus, press enter on keyboard.

When I go into properties > permissions > there isn't a allow executing file checkbox there?
