    20.04 LTS system requirements

What will be the system requirements for 20.04 LTS?

Tried googling them, only found the requirements for 18.04 LTS, will they be the same, more demanding, anyone any idea, did I somehow fail to check an obvious place where they're listed?

I suppose the same as 18.04 and, if not, it shouldn't be much different.

On my old HP laptop Ubuntu 20.04 doesn't seem worse than 18.04

20.04 is the best performing Gnome on my laptop; Celeron B830 @ 2x1.80GHz, 4GB RAM. I usually stayed away from Gnome due to low specs and aged equipment but it looks like 20.04 will be an exception.

    Re: 20.04 LTS system requirements

The best document I'm aware of is https://help.ubuntu.com/community/In...emRequirements

I'm also not aware of any need to to change it for Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. In fact a fair amount of work has been performed to make GNOME act faster starting with Ubuntu 19.10 (eg. https://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/boosting-the-real-time-performance-of-gnome-shell-3-34-in-ubuntu-19-10/ which despite the title, includes aims for 20.04 & 20.10 releases)

My desktop is a decade old (dell optiplex from 2009) and runs 20.04 fine anyway; though I prefer lighter LXQt (Lubuntu) or XFCE (Xubuntu) which both perform faster, but even ignoring speed I prefer those desktops anyway over gnome.
