Question Weird behaviour of USB storage media when dual booting?

Has anyone else noticed that, when you use thumb drives or external hard drives under Linux (without changing anything about their out-of-the-box formatting), and then use then under Windows, you get some Windows error message indicating that something is somehow wrong with them, but most of the time, Windows can access them anyway?

It would be helpful if you want to help to post the actual, specific message you get in windows. And no, I'm not familiar with that problem but most likely because I rarely use windows. If you're still curious, try it again and post the exact message as there are quite a few members here who do use windows regularly.

Yes, Windows does not like that any other operating system is touching 'its' file systems.
