Update₃: Since my first assumption was wrong and it was Python-related, as i suspected later, I'm marking this as „Solved“... Only python3-uno is left and i hope it will get resolved with new edition of LibreOffice...

On several installs I do have with 20.04, after all except python3-uno stopped to show up in dist-upgrade offer, I have 2.7-free machines. Yes, I do use some stuff to clean cruft but I think, in this case, installs cleaned themselves successfully...
3.8 is a bit buggy due to somewhat starters syntax errors in packages. And it kind of goes downstream... I've tried to file bug reports but it is so slow and hard to document I did give up... First bug report from some time ago is now in triage stage being confirmed and...

My particular example is the "kernel-package", which still wants to pull in a ton of python 2.x stuff:
