    Video Editing Tools

There's a bunch of them. But, so far I haven't found one I like. I'm spoiled by audio editing with audacity.

A Labels track would be a great help in a video editor.

I'd like a video editor that lets us see the audio tracks like in audacity. I like to zoom in on the audio tracks to where I can see the spaces between words. Then hit play so I can hear the words as the playhead passes. Then set clip points between the words where I want them.

I have not found an easy way to get the clip points exactly where I want with any of the video editors.

Do any of the video editors supported by ubuntu support these features?

Did you try KDEnlive? It shows the wave form of an audio track.
