    how can I open a damaged iso file in ubuntu?

    hello. How can I open a damaged iso file in ubuntu? I myself created this iso file 2 years ago. And now I can’t open it either.Please help me.

    Maybe the archive manager will open it.

    What sort of iso file is it, a Linux distro image, an iso of a DVD ready to burn, or something else entirely? What do you want to do with the file? As it is damaged it will probably fail to do whatever you want it to.

    Try installing testdisk from the repositories. If you run "testdisk /path/to/your.iso" it should offer to analyze that file.
