Could someone PLEASE fix this BUG in the Ubuntu/LUKS boot process?

This is a bug that has been in Ubuntu as long as it has supported full-disk encryption with LUKS. Basically, the caps lock LED does not work. The caps lock key works, but the LED on the keyboard doesn't light up. I have verified that this is the case on many systems. This is very, very irritating, because I have a long passcode that contains the letter "a" (I don't think I am divulging much by saying that), and once in a while I will hit the caps lock key by mistake. Since the LED light doesn't work, I have no idea if I hit it or not.

    Hello.

Nobody here works for Canonical, so we are in no position to address bugs. I suggest you report the bug, if you think it is one, at https://launchpad.net or use the built-in bug reporting tool by opening a terminal and issuing

    Code:
    ubuntu-bug <name_of_program_here>
Please read The Forum Rules and The Forum Posting Guidelines

A thing discovered and kept to oneself must be discovered time and again by others. A thing discovered and shared with others need be discovered only the once.
This universe is crazy. I'm going back to my own.

You didn't even provide the bug ID so we could look up what bug you are talking about? ie. the launchpad bug ID.
