I accidentally created a new forum account...

Hello,

I originally joined the forum in 2009, and haven't been here since 2011. I'm needing support with installing Ubuntu, and decided to come back, but there's a new login system called UbuntuOne. I couldn't remember which email I used with this account, and ended up creating another account with my current email @gmail.com. The UbuntuOne account didn't link to this forum account, and created a new forum account "raditude2." Now I'm wanting to switch the email on this forum account to my gmail address, but it says it's already in use. Can I have the "raditude2" forum account removed or merged into this forum account "Raditude," please.

I also can't seem to edit my profile information, and it's out of date. Am I able to do that somehow?

I disabled your new account and made a change to the email address on that account, now you should be able to set the gmail email to your original account.

As for editing your profile here is a link that explains our stance on needing ten posts in support sub-forums, I think it may be just a matter of letting the forum software catch up since it has been so long since you have logged into the forum but you may have to make ten new posts again.

I forgot to tell you that you will receive a confirmation email that you need to respond to once you have changed your email address before you will be able to post except in this sub-forum.

I did not get that email. Checked both new and old accounts, and their spam folders...
