Can see all 5GHz networks, and can sometimes connect...

Hi all

Running kubuntu 19.04 on a MacBook Pro. I'm able to see all 5GHz networks around me, except my own. My SSID is being broadcasted and my Mac will connect to it from MacOS. However, when the Mac is booted into kubuntu then 8 out of 10 times my network doesn't appear in the list. But sometimes it does appear, and whenever that happens it connects with no issues. Mostly, however, I'm out of luck.

Any ideas?

Just to be clear, my 5GHz network appears 20% of the time on the kubuntu side, but 100% of the time on the MacOS side. The hardware is the same.
