after sleep mode touchpad is not working

Hello,
I have HP Probook 650 G5 (from work). I installed Ubuntu 18.0.3 and upgraded the kernel to 5.3.7.
When my laptop goes in sleep mode, the touchpad is not responsive, no movement at all. A usb mouse works fine.
I tried

sudo modprobe -r psmouse

and

sudo modprobe -r psmouse

but that doesn't work.
I have to restart the computer every time to get the touchpad going again. Any ideas?
