    touchpad stopped working

    The touchpad of my Dell laptop stopped working in Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. When I go to Devices, the touchpad is listed as ON. I have tried rebooting, updating + upgrading, and using Time Shift to restore to a previous time when the touchpad worked. Any suggestions? Thanks.
