Touch screen support?

I am using an HP Pavilion x360 with ubuntu (kubuntu) and assume there is touch screen support. My touch screen works but only like a mouse, the support seems very far behind what the hardware is capable of, it won't even recognize more than 1 touchpoint (display recognizes 10 in windows). Is there something I need to do to enable the support or drivers I need to update or install?
