    Question How to share USB printer to Windows network?

    My printer is connected to PC with Ubuntu. I need to share this printer to other computers in network. All computers are Windows. On Windows it's very easy: just allow share and you can see printer in network or use \\ip and it opens PC's share there you can add printer.
    Can I do the same easy way with Linux?

    @alexkrycek2

    On most printers, they can usually be connected to a PC, via USB cable, or to a network -- wired or WiFi -- but NOT both.

    You would have to check the specs with your printer manufacturer to see if yours is the exception .
    Ubuntu 20.04, Mint 19.10; MS Win10 Pro.
    Will not respond to PM requests for support -- use the forums.

    You can definitely share a printer (connected to a print server by usb) over your local network. I don't know if this guide is still accurate, but it worked for me in the past: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Ne...tingWithUbuntu
