Cool Re: Ubuntu 19.10 Cinnamon Remix

Thanks for the Thread Post. I will try it. Ubuntu is my all time favorite. Which started with Ubuntu 7.04 seems like the day before the other year.
Being a Remix I do not think it will make the official flavor list, I could be very wrong though. I was looking it actually has the official version of open office.
At one time Ubuntu had the official version of open office. Then they changed it to Libre Office. Thanks again for the web link.

    Re: Ubuntu 19.10 Cinnamon Remix

Thanks again I tried and have a live copy of Cinnamon Remix. Impressive OS seems to be stable. Comes with Libre full office suite,
including draw and math. I like the looks of the desktop theme as default. I even checked out the available desktop wallpapers. I am changing my mind it just could be a new 'Flavor' of Ubuntu. Reminds me more of the older versions of Ubuntu without the Dock.

That's because that's what it is. When Gnome 3, KDE 4 and Unity all happened at the same time and turned desktop environments into a minefield, the Mint people forked Gnome 2 and used it as the basis for Cinnamon.

    Re: Ubuntu 19.10 Cinnamon Remix

I'll just stay with the good old Ubuntu 18.04 LTS with Gnome because unlike a lot of users I like Gnome and have no complaints with it on my old outdated desktop computers.

Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, is Definitely may all time Favorite. Every time i Have to Install or Re-Install Ubuntu 18.04 on Multiple laptops. I have to Install Cinnamon again. Which is not that bad, but an extra step, & Customize to my Liking. I have a List Go through every time.
This is Why i Support this Project Ubuntu Cinnamon Remix Project.
I can just Install & Go for the most part plus some Customization.

    Re: Ubuntu 19.10 Cinnamon Remix

Sounds interesting, but why Cinnamon 4.0.10? Latest Cinnamon is 4.4.5, and even if you look in the Ubuntu repos, I think they have 4.4.2. Just seems like a interesting choice of version.
