where to post regarding sysadmin things?

we have a forum named "Development & Programming" under "Ubuntu Specialised Support". i am looking for a place kinda like that, but for System Administration topics.

I am very tired at the moment but I do not believe the forum has a sub-forum for sysadmin discussion but if you have a specific question that is support it probably belongs in the server sub-forum for all other questions it probably belongs in Ubuntu, Linux and OS Chat, the strap line is:

This is the place for chat and discussion about any aspect of Ubuntu, Linux or any operating system and its software. Technical support requests should be posted in an appropriate support sub-forum. Discussion of the politics of open source is permissible, but only the politics of open source. Wider political discussion is disallowed in all areas of the forum, as is discussion of religion. As with the Cafe, this area is intended for fun and community building, not arguments. Please take those elsewhere. Thanks!

what i am often wanting to post are tips and suggestions about ways to administer systems, ways to use shell terminals, ways to be safe with sudo, using bash, and so on. maybe these can be expressed as pre-answered questions/issues like "how can i prevent the kitty from getting root access?".

Sounds like you need to get your thoughts about what you want to share typed up and put into a tutorial format then you can post it here:

i'm thinking more like little hints and tips one at a time. maybe a better idea is to do this in a blog and eventually collect them into a tutorial format.
