problems uploading attachment images in forum threads

i am having troubles in uploading my screenshots as attachment in my ubuntu forum thread. i could not determine is it the problem of newly installed ubuntu 19.10 system or that of the forum site. the files are chosen and it shows the progress of being uploaded as well and finally after the message "waiting for ubuntuforums.org" the file are not uploaded and we need to start from the scrap again. what is wrong exactly?

Exactly? I have no clue how your system is configured. The first thing I would try would be disabling any non-standard browser extensions,
Clear cookies and cache,
try a different browser,
try a different computer.

exactly how exact do we need to be? which Ubuntu did you install? plain Ubuntu, or a special one like Kubuntu, Lubuntu, or Xubuntu? which browser are you using? Firefox? what type and speed of internet connection are you using? dialup? ISDN? ISDN-23? DSL? Coaxial-cable? Fiber-optic? 1 mbps? 10 mbps? 100 mbps? gigabit?

sorry with the trouble.

its Ubuntu 19.10 and it was google chrome. internet connection 50 Mbps from local ISP via optical fibre.

might be a browser issue but it is still persistent. it uploads some .jpg files with no delay and for some it keeps vanishing after the upload progress.

it might be forum site side issue as well. just a hunch.
