Logitech g703 battery level reporting

Hello - I'm hoping someone can help me
I have a Logitech g703 mouse connected through a Lightspeed received and would like a command to report the battery level. I realise that this hasn't been possible until Kernel version 5+, but I'm now on 19.10 with the latest kernel and was expecting `upower -d` to report the battery level, but it doesn't

I've also been looking at ratbagctl - but no battery information is being reported by that either

Any suggestions? Thanks very much in advance

You can install the "Solaar" program with a GUI interface.

Or cli with:

Not quite as elegant as Solaar though.

Thanks for the reply.. Solaar doesn't work ("battery level unavailable") and nor does upower --dump

It seems like the mouse/ receiver isn't recognised by upower:

That output of yours has me stumped ATM.
I'm not sure the device has support just this yet.

I think it has to do with Bluetooth version of device)

Yeah - that's what I would have expected

I also posted on Solaar's github and just got a response that they know they need to add support for it: https://github.com/pwr-Solaar/Solaar/issues/570
Hopefully they'll add support soon

I got nothing to solve the problem but can confirm its not just that device. My apple mouse used to report battery now it doesn't same with my logitech mx.
