    Timing of updates

I am running Ubuntu 19.04 and I would like to update to the new released 19.10 version.
    I ran
    Code:
    sudo do-release-upgrade
    and I got this message:

    Code:
Checking for a new Ubuntu release
     No new release found.
I thought that it was weird since the 19.10 has already been released http://releases.ubuntu.com/19.10/
In order to understand what was going on I went to the website http://changelogs.ubuntu.com/meta-release, since the instruction sudo do-release-upgrade checks this page behind the scene, and I have noticed that the entry 19.10 is missing.
Do you know when this page will be updated?
    Thank you, Marco

Have you checked in Software & Updates to make sue Notify me of new Ubuntu version is set to For any new version under the Updates tab?

    Yes, that is all checked.
My concern is why this new version is not in the official list http://changelogs.ubuntu.com/meta-release

    Re: Timing of updates

There's sometimes a delay of a few days before upgrades to the next release are offered.

Edit: discussion on IRC earlier today:

    Re: Timing of updates

I have been using Ubuntu since somewhere around version 13.04 and don't recall, until now, not having the update for a new version show up in Software Updater on the first or second day of release. Yes, like Flaminio90, everything is properly checked in Settings. This is not a user problem. Something has gone wrong and a fix does not appear to be in sight.

    Re: Timing of updates

It's normal that it takes a few days. Not so long ago, it may have been 17.04, it even took several weeks, as there was some problem with the upgrade process, so it wasn't released. You'll see it when it's there. Or are you in a hurry?

    Re: Timing of updates

My update from 19.04 to 19.10 went very smoothly and everything seems to be working fine except for Suspend. When I close the lid on my laptop (Dell Latitude) it momentarily suspends, but in a second or two it wakes up again, then suspends again, and wakes up again, ad infinitum...
