Hi,
Sorry I havnt posted for a while, Ive added a few more wallpapers on my site if anyones interested.
The last one is made in Blender.
Its my first one in Blender, I did a crash course at the weekend.
I use to use Anim8or via wine but have decided to try the Linux equivilant.

Not sure if you are open for reviews/criticism but here it goes:

(Wallpapers from left-right/top-bottom)

1. Not sure about the font. I quite like the official ubuntu font
2. Quite good but has a slight 80's/metallic feel to it
3. Again, not sure about the font.
4. Pretty good but very plain
5. Font again
6. Not sure what this has to do with linux
7. I believe the angle for this one might be incorrect??
8. Pretty good
9. Nice
10. I quite hate the original MEPIS icon but this one makes it more interesting
11. Not sure what it has to do with linux but look cool
12. Is that meant to reflect MEPIS'? If so then it very good

Yeah There are some very good ones amoung them
will be using some of these

The ones that impressed me most or draw a comment from

1. The browns and Ubuntu really good
3. The links in a sphere in logo colours great but the font distracts
5. Very Good Like the position of penguin and ubuntu with logo in foreground (font is good in this one)
6. I think the spheres and elipoid is splendid as a possible representation of friendship (logo)
7. I think the logo in wood is also splendid but a bit unsure of the grain of the lowest head
10. Yin Yang is Nice
11. Yin Yang behind Mephis Logo Good

Third one in second row is not a wallpaper but the colour scheme?? That would make 12? Not trying to argue, just clarifying

Hi,
Thanks for the reviews its great to get feedback.
Ive been an artist for many years now so you cant hurt my feelings.

I agree with some of you, I am moving away from text an them so they can be used anywhere, I dont think logos have as much of a limiting effect.

You might notice that they are in chronilogical order so the first few are a bit low quality as I was new to Gimp but I moved into 3D and have changed programs now to blender so they will hopefully get better ?

The Egg one was just me mucking about but I used the Ubuntu reds, oranges etc. to give it a Ubuntu theme.
I am using Mepis at the moment but I loved the Ubuntu Human theme and logo so I am still doing Ubuntu stuff and the colour theme is one I made for Mepis KDE but I presume it will work in Kubuntu.
It is a colour theme and a control bar bitmap in the Human theme colours although I have made slightly richer browns and is easy on the eye, I have made all the whites into a pale beige so it isnt as dazzly on the eyes when your on the PC for many hours like me.
When I have to return to my XP dual boot I get head aches from the bright screens straight away.

Im glad you like them and Ill be back with news on new stuff as it is added, or you can just bookmark my page and pop in now and again to see if there is anything new there.
