    New OS

    Well guys I was running Ubuntu but had issues thought I'd try windows 10 again big mistake so I went back to Linux Mint 18.3 so far I find it very rock solid sorry guys still Ubuntu

    Anotheralternative is Peppermint 10, supported until 2023, also rock sold and Ubuntu 18.04 underneath.

    I have not ran Mint or Pepper. I ran Mate for a few years (during the Unity fallout) and found it to be solid. Switch back to gnome3 with 18.04 and really like it. If gnome3 ever let me down I would fall back on Mate.

    I like Ubuntu and Ubuntu Mate both run great on my old 2010 desktop computers.
