Lightbulb Application to show recent desktop notifications

    Lubuntu 18.04 LTS
xfce4-notifyd-config shows a log of notifications but is it possible to have an indicator in the panel which alerts of new notifications and lists them?

    See if this fits:https://launchpad.net/~jconti/+archi...-notifications
Recent Notifications is an indicator applet (indicator-notifications) that collects recent messages sent with libnotify to a notification daemon, such as notify-osd.

Question Re: Application to show recent desktop notifications

How do I start it? It doesn't start at login and I don't see it in the "Add plugin to panel" list.

I don't think 'recent notifications' is going to work in Lubuntu because it's a Gnome applet. If you're willing wait a few weeks and upgrade, Lubuntu 19.10 has such a plugin (called 'status notifier plugin') on the panel by default. Release date scheduled on Oct 17. It is not available in Lubuntu 19.04.
