Netflix Trouble In Linux!

Hi Friends,

I am having trouble playing Netflix On Linux. I am playing it on Firefox and it does not play. Also no error codes. So I am not very sure where I could be going wrong.

What version of ubuntu are you running? That may not matter much, unless your version had pass EOL.

When you first visit Netflix, you should have a thin yellow banner at the top prompting you to enable DRM. Once allowed, you should be able to play videos.

I remember back in the day when it had to be done via Chrome. I was amazed when I recently gave it a try in Firefox and it just worked.

Yay! Thanks a lot guys. I was able to solve the issue from here. It was basically a DRM issue!

Lol, that kind of thing happens to me at least once a day. If someone had asked me a month ago if it worked on Firefox, then I would have said, "Nope, ya gotta use Chrome."

Firefox' Preferences do indeed include a DRM checkbox, which, by default, is on.
