    scan channels with kafeine

Does anyone know how to get the included version of kafeine in ubuntu or kubuntu to scan channels. There is no tables loaded for kafeine to scan. How to get these tables to where kafeine can see them ?

Kinda need to know what version of kubuntu your using. Older versions of kubuntu scan tables are in package "dvb-apps" , newer versions they are
    in package "dtv-scan-tables"

I use Kaffeine v2.1.15 which has a built-in DVB channel scan function. It's under "Television", then "Channels".

You might want to verify that Kaffeine can see the TV adaptor - "Television", then "Configure Television.

Should also say I'm using Ububto (not Kubuntu) 19.04.
